  • 2000–2004 PhD studies in phonetics at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München. Thesis: Acoustic, articulatory, and perceptive parameters in consonant production following partial tongue resection.

  • 1989–1991 Studies of German, English, Dutch, Danish, and Finno-Ugric languages at the Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest.

  • Leader of the research group Analogy-based, laboratory and formal phonology and morphology at the Institute for Linguistics, Hungarian Academy of Sciences, Budapest.
  • Member of the editorial board of the Hungarian journals Acta Linguistica Hungarica and Beszédkutatás (Speech research).
